Drought is a complex type of natural disaster and is characterized by persistent water scarcity. Drought occurs slowly (slow on set), lasts until the beginning of the rainy season, and has a very broad and cross-sectoral impact such as economic, social, health and education. This study aims to map the distribution of drought-prone areas in Karawang Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative tiered by combining primary data and secondary data USGS Image. The results of this study showed that in 2020 the potential index for moderate drought occurred in Tempuran district with an area of 88.09 km2, cibuaya district moderate drought with an area of 87.18 km2 also occurred in Telukjambe barat district with an area of 73.36 km2, in 2022 the potential index for very severe drought occurred in Cibuaya district with an area of 87.18 km2, Cilamaya wetan district with an area of 69.36 km2, Cilebar district with an area of 64.20 km2.
