Geography learning at SMA Negeri 1 Cigudeg uses an independent curriculum which does not require material to be discussed thoroughly, but the media currently used is not in accordance with the ongoing learning process so new learning media is needed, not only that in this independent curriculum teachers are required to use learning strategies varied and the focus is on students and involves technological sophistication. That way the material can be conveyed properly and improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes by utilizing the interactive learning media nearpod class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Cigudeg. This study used a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design, the study sample used two classes, namely class XI IPS 1 as the experimental class utilizing the interactive learning media Nearpod and class XI IPS 2 as the control class using conventional learning media. The data collection technique used a test method in the form of multiple choice totaling 30 items in the Geography subject on population dynamics and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive data analysis, normality test, homogeneity test and T test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the learning outcomes of geography on population dynamics between the control class and the experimental class at SMA Negeri 1 Cigudeg, with a score t count 7,859 > t table 1,997 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. the posttest learning outcomes of the experimental class were also higher than the control class, this was because the experimental class utilized Nearpod interactive media in the learning process
