Guide for Author
Jurnal Agroqua receives the original manuscript which is the result of research in the field of agronomy and aquaculture, covering the fields of cultivation of plants and fish, soil science, crop and fish protection against pests and diseases, agricultural technology and fishery
- The manuscript is typed in both Indonesian and English.
- Manuscript typed with Microsoft Word program with 12-point Times New Roman letter, two spaces, on A4 size HVS paper with left, right, and bottom border of 2.5 cm but top 3,5 cm of 10-15 sheets, 1 column. Each page is numbered sequentially
- Images and tables are separated at the end of the script. The script should only provide instructions for the placement of images or tables.
- The manuscripts are arranged in the following order:
TITLE
TIME NEW ROMAN; SIZE-14; LINE SPACING: SINGLE
ABSTRACT
State the objective is specific and clear, as to what is to be obtained. Give a brief account of the methods. Identity scientific names of plants, other organisms, and chemicals. State results succinctly. State conclusions or recommendations and link this to the significance of the work. The abstract must be integrated and independent which is consists of an introduction and purpose, methods, results, conclusion, and suggestion. The abstract must be written using 150 to 200 characters which have no reference and accompanying keywords. It should be written using TIME NEW ROMAN 12 with line numbering. Keywords: Keywords should not be more than 5 words, avoid the words in the title. The keyword must represent the content of your article. It should be written using TIME NEW ROMAN 12 (alphabetical order)
INTRODUCTION
Present brief and clear information concerning the background, aim, and purpose of the research. Provide the background information regarding your study and why you are interested in the study. The introduction must answer the research question of your article. Please make sure that the introduction section provides well-balanced, current, and relevant citations. Avoid/ minimize citing old references (more than 10 years old), but cite the first finding that relates to your research although it is more than 10 years old. The introduction should end with the purpose of your research, which usually meets the gap of current related knowledge, or answers your research question. The introduction must be written using 750 to 1000 characters. It should be written using TIME NEW ROMAN 12 with line numbering.
MATERIAL AND METHODS
It should mention the time and place of research in the first part. All materials and methods that used such chemicals for analysis, treatment, and experimental design must be stated clearly and briefly. Write what you did in the past tense. If you did a new method, describe very clearly step by step so another researcher can reproduce your method. But if you employed an established method, explain briefly and clearly write the reference you cited so another researcher can find out more detailed information regarding the method. All the parameters and statistical methods must be written apparently. Materials and methods must be written using 400 to 600 characters. It should be written using TIME NEW ROMAN 12.
RESULTS
Results should present the findings of your research in a logical order. Present from the most important to less important of your data, with a clear story and makes it easy to understand. Use past tense to explain your data, but avoid interpreting or discussing the data. Do not duplicate data in different types, but summarize what readers will find in your data. Include a statistical analysis of your data, usually using a p-value to show significant differences. Avoid hiding or keeping your data for separately another publication because this may lead to losing evidence to reinforce the conclusion.
DISCUSSION
The discussion must be the interpretation of your results, clearly write what your results mean. This section is the most important part of your manuscript and discusses the data in order of the most to less important. Compare your results with other studies to convince your data if they are consistent. But if you find a work which is disagreement with yours, you must confront it to convince the reader that your data is correct or better. Discuss your data comprehensively by linking the data with each other, to support your hypothesis. Explaining the weakness or limitation of your study may improve your manuscript quality by showing the readers that you have an in-depth understanding of your research and thinking objectively. Finally, emphasize your finding, what is new and why it is important, and suggest future studies that need to be carried out.
CONCLUSION
Write your conclusion clearly so the reviewers and the readers can easily judge the merits of your work. Do not repeat the abstract or just listing to the results, and avoid statistical statements in this section. Provide a clear scientific justification that can answer your research question. You can also suggest future experiments based on your conclusion. The conclusion must be written using 40 to 80 characters and it should be written using Times NEW ROMAN 12.

references listed must be at least 1 time in the body of writing in accordance with the rules of writing the name of the year.

Figure and Table
The figure and table should be placed separately from the text. The figure should be drawn in white and black color and the figure's remarks placed at the bottom before 4pt. The title of the figure is placed after the remarks with a single space. Pictures and Tables, accompanied by a description.
Because of applying Double-Blind Reviewer, then on the first-page type the Title, Full name of author, institution, complete address of all authors, and e-mail for correspondence. The author submits the manuscript online via SUBMISSION ONLINE Acceptance of the article is done at any time, however, the deadline for receipt of the manuscript is May 5 for the issuance of June and 5 November for the issuance of December.
