Damage to mangroves in Bengkulu City is one of the damage that has occurred in Indonesia, causing changes to the coastline of up to 50-90m and decreasing catch and income. Ecotourism Development of environmentally friendly mangrove forests is a solution to overcome environmental problems and reduce the loss of species and habitats typical of mangroves. The use of mangroves based on economic incentives can be used as an element of support in the development of ecotourism, but this has not been done by the community and the government, because there are still many people who do not understand the use of mangroves for environmentally friendly economic activities. This research was carried out through field data collection such as surveys to determine the potential of mangroves in the prosperous village area, which then explored the use of mangrove vegetation for economic activities by the community through observation, documentation and interviews, after which data management was carried out through literature analysis to determine business-based economic incentives that can be developed by the community. Based on the findings of the four mangrove species that can be used for economic activity, there are 3 types, namely: 1) Sonneratia Caseolari:, mangrove dodol, Baytat Cake Topping Mangrove Slai, Pidada syrup; 2) Rhizophora Mucronata: Rhizophora Mangrove Fruit Crackers Anti Diarrhea and Batik Coloring; 3) Avicenia Marina: Mangrove Flour.
