Perbedaan Hasil Belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Siswa Antara Yang Menggunakan Media Power Point Dengan Yang Tidak menggunakan Media Power Point Di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 31 Seluma

This study was conducted aiming to analyze the differences between the results belajar IPS students who use the media that does not use power point in class VIII SMP Negeri 31 Seluma. The method used in this research is a form of quasi-experimental. Based on data analysis, the data showed: (1) The results of classroom learning experiment that uses PowerPoint media obtained an average score of 60.62 at the beginning of the test (pretest) and obtained an average score of 80.41 at the end of the test (posttest) categories very good, with an average gain (increase) 19.79. (2) Results of a study on a class of media control Without PowerPoint with an average score of 65.20 at the beginning of the test (pretest) and the average score of 74.79 at the end of the test (posttest) both categories, with an average gain score ( increase) 9.58. (3) Based on data analysis through hypothesis testing t-test is performed, the data obtained t 5,95 and 2,01 t table, thus t> t table, it means Ha accepted and HO rejected, in other words, there is a difference significant results of social studies students between using PowerPoint with the media who do not use media PowerPoint.
