Abstract

This study aims to determine the water quality of the river ketahun be based on the parameters of physics, chemistry and biology. The method used is an experimental method .. The population in this study is the river water ketahun Ketahun Market Village. The sample in this study were taken three sample points upstream, midstream and downstream .. The results as follows: 1. Physical parameters of water where the parameters Total Tersuspeded Solid (TSS) is polluted and temperature, color and smell of the water of the river Ketahun quite normal and fit for use so good for the community as well as the survival of aquatic biota 2. parameter water Chemistry where the degree of acidity (PH), dissolved oxygen (DO) is normal and the parameters Chemical oxygen Demand (COD), ferum {Fe), manganese (Mn) in the river water Ketahun classified as polluted and waters that have high levels of undesirable for the benefit of fisheries and agriculture. 3. Content of Water Biological Parameters obtained total Colli on river water Ketahun classified as contaminated and not be used because it causes a variety of diseases that will harm the health of the community.
