Based on Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities which includes fulfilling equal opportunities for Persons with Disabilities in all aspects of state and community administration. From the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that: The Draft Regional Regulation (RAPERDA) concerning Respect, Protection and fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities was born from community demands and has received support from related institutions. Since Law Number 8 of 2016 was created, disabled people's forums have continued to encourage the government and agencies, both government and private, to provide equal employment opportunity rights for people with disabilities in Bengkulu City. The RAPERDA is an initiative of the Bengkulu City DPRD. It is hoped that the suggestion with the RAPERDA will encourage government and private agencies to provide equal opportunities in the world of work and the institutions involved can carry out their respective roles as fully as possible, including the role of planning, implementation and evaluation. As well as the general public and people with disabilities can also continue to participate directly for the implementation of respect, protection and fulfillment of the rights of Persons with Disabilities in the City of Bengkulu.
