About the Journal

Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik ISSN: 2252-5270 (print), 2620-6056 (online) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH. The journal focuses on research in social and political sciences, particularly in public policy, governance, and socio-political development.

This journal provides immediate open access to all published content under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with proper attribution.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. The journal is published twice a year (June and December).

This journal is nationally accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (SINTA 5), Garuda and indexed in Index Copernicus.

Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik Volume 15, Number 1, June 2026 (on process) features articles addressing contemporary issues in social, political, and governance studies from the perspectives of scholars from Indonesia, Turkey, and Tanzania. The topics include disaster management policy, food security, local politics, government accountability, digital public services, social welfare, and collaborative governance. This edition aims to contribute to the advancement of social and political studies by providing international scholarly perspectives relevant to current public challenges at both local and global levels.

We invite researchers to submit their original research articles in English for consideration in Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik. All submitted manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review process, in which each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are unaware of the authors’ identities.

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system. Submitted manuscripts can be uploaded directly through the platform, where authors are able to monitor the progress of their submission throughout the review process.

To submit a manuscript, authors must first register on the journal’s website. After registration, authors can log in to upload their manuscript in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines and formatting requirements.

Authors are advised to carefully review the Author Guidelines prior to submission to ensure compliance with the journal’s requirements and to minimize the risk of desk rejection.
