About the Journal

Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik ISSN: 2252-5270 (print), 2620-6056 (online) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH. The journal focuses on research in social and political sciences, particularly in public policy, governance, and socio-political development.

This journal provides immediate open access to all published content under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with proper attribution.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. The journal adopts a continuous publication model while maintaining two issues each year: Number 1 (January–June) and Number 2 (July–December). Accepted articles are published online immediately upon completion of the editorial and production process and are assigned to the current issue.

All articles published in this journal are freely and immediately available to readers without subscription or access fees. Readers are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and link to the full texts of articles without financial or legal barriers.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on originality, methodological rigor, scientific contribution, and relevance to the journal scope.

Publication Ethics

The journal follows the ethical principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for all parties involved in publication, including authors, editors, and reviewers. Issues such as plagiarism, data fabrication, and conflicts of interest are strictly prohibited.

Indexing and Accreditation

Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik is indexed in Google Scholar, Garuda, Copernicus and has been nationally accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (SINTA 5).
