About the Journal

Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik ISSN : Print ISSN: 2252-5270 and online ISSN: 2620-6056 is a peer-reviewed, open access scientific journal dedicated to the development of social and political sciences. The journal publishes original research articles based on empirical field studies, theoretical analyses, and critical reviews in the fields of social sciences, public policy, governance, and political studies.

The journal is published biannually (June and December) by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH.

Open Access Policy

All articles published in this journal are freely and immediately available to readers without subscription or access fees. Readers are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and link to the full texts of articles without financial or legal barriers.

Licensing

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on originality, methodological rigor, scientific contribution, and relevance to the journal scope.

Publication Ethics

The journal follows the ethical principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for all parties involved in publication, including authors, editors, and reviewers. Issues such as plagiarism, data fabrication, and conflicts of interest are strictly prohibited.

Indexing and Accreditation

Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik is indexed in Index Copernicus  and has been nationally accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 286/DST/C3/HM.01.00/2026 (SINTA 5).
