Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik ISSN: 2252-5270 (print), 2620-6056 (online) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH. The journal focuses on research in social and political sciences, particularly in public policy, governance, and socio-political development.

This journal provides immediate open access to all published content under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with proper attribution.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. The journal is published twice a year (June and December).

This journal is nationally accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (SINTA 5), Garuda and indexed in Index Copernicus.

Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik Volume 15, Number 1, June 2026 (on process) presents a collection of articles addressing current social and political issues. The topics covered include disaster management policy, food import dependence, and local political dynamics. This issue also highlights governance-related themes, such as village financial accountability, state asset administration, and the implementation of digital public services at the local level.

Overall, this edition aims to provide scholarly insights and contribute to the development of social and political studies, while offering relevant perspectives for understanding and addressing public issues.

We invite researchers to submit their original research articles in English for consideration in Mimbar: Jurnal Penelitian Sosial dan Politik. All submitted manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review process, in which each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are unaware of the authors’ identities.

Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system. Submitted manuscripts can be uploaded directly through the platform, where authors are able to monitor the progress of their submission throughout the review process.

To submit a manuscript, authors must first register on the journal’s website. After registration, authors can log in to upload their manuscript in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines and formatting requirements.

Authors are advised to carefully review the Author Guidelines prior to submission to ensure compliance with the journal’s requirements and to minimize the risk of desk rejection.
